The German Center for Medical Assistance is opening in Georgia


German doctors will consult patients in the new medical center.


German medical aid center Deutsches Diagnosticum will be opened in Georgia at the end of October, which will work under the auspices of the state medical holding, according to the website of the Ministry of Health.
Deutsches Diagnosticum will be the first medical aid center in Georgia, which will offer systematic and highly qualified German medical experience to local patients, the agency notes.
The patients will be consulted by doctors invited from Germany and through telemedicine, they will offer services that correspond to the highly qualified German medical standard.
Regarding the strengthening of the healthcare system, the Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Protection from the occupied territories Ekaterine Tikaradze met with the representatives of the leading German university clinics.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the international standards of clinical management and the challenges facing the Georgian healthcare system.
Representatives of Germany's leading university clinics provided the head of the department and members of the state medical holding with detailed information about the medical diagnostic center Deutsches Diagnosticum.
Since 2020, the Ministry of Health of Georgia has been developing telemedicine and information infrastructure, which involves the use of computer technologies and telecommunications for the purpose of exchanging medical information among doctors around the world.
