For the first time, in Eastern Europe and in the post-Soviet space, on the basis of the Deutsches Diagnosticum, remotely controlled ultrasound (sonographic) studies are being launched in cooperation with the sonographic center of the Munich University Hospital using innovative digital technologies. This unprecedented and innovative method of sonographic diagnostics, via live broadcast from Germany, is managed by one of the world's leading specialists, Director of the Sonographic Center of the Munich University Hospital, Professor Dirk Andre Klevert.
Ultrasound diagnostics will be performed on the following organ systems:
- Thyroid and neck region
- Abdomen
- Vessels of the extremities and the lymphatic system.
Professor, Doctor of Medicine, Honorary Doctor of the Tbilisi State Medical University, President of the International Academy of Sonographic Research, Member of the Board of Directors of the European Sonographic Association - Dirk-Andre Klevert;
He is the director of the interdisciplinary ultrasound center at the Grosshadern Clinic, the central clinical base of the Ludwig Maximilian University, which is part of one of the largest medical complexes in Germany.
Under his leadership, this center conducts all interventional ultrasound studies, including contrast ultrasound (CEUS). The center performs approximately 20,000 ultrasound examinations in one year.
Professor Clevert:
- Published over 115 articles in national and international medical journals;
- He is a member of the advisory board of several scientific journals;
- He has given more than 370 lectures and scientific presentations at national and international congresses and courses around the world as a visiting professor;
His research interests include contrast enhanced sonography, interventional and vascular echoscopy;
He wrote a doctoral dissertation in medical economics titled "Process Optimization in Hospital Logistics"
